Welcome to Party Things Online Shopping. Below is a simple step by step procedure to purchase from our website;

1. Find What You Are Looking For

To find the products that you are after, you can use one of the following two methods;

  1. Click on one of the Categories on the right hand side of the screen, or alternatively click on the Catalog link at the top of the screen to display all categories. Once you have selected your category you can search the entire category from start to finish by going through page by page. Or, you can click on the drop down menu to choose a sub category to speed up your search.
  2. Type in key words on what you are looking for in the search box at the top right hand corner of the page. You will the be presented with all search results found.

2. Add A Product To Your Cart

Once you have found the product that you are looking for, click on it to show all details about the product.

  1. To purchase the product, enter in the amount you wish to purchase in the "Qty" box (which automatically defaults to 1).
  2. Then simply click on the "Add to Cart" button to add your items to your Shopping Cart.
  3. From here you can click the "Continue Shopping" button or "View Cart And Check Out".
  4. At any time during your shopping process you can view the contents of your shopping cart and the cost of your purchase.

3. View or Edit Your Shopping Cart

  • To view your shopping cart at any time click the "Checkout" button at the top right hand corner of the screen.
  • To change a quantity for an item or for multiple items simply change the quantity in the quantity column and click the update button at the bottom of the column.
  • To remove an item from your cart , simply click the "Remove" button at the end of the row of the product.

 4. Checkout Stage 1 - Billing & Delivery

  1. To checkout you will need to click the "Proceed to Checkout" button in the bottom right hand corner of your shopping cart. You will then proceed to Step 1 of 2 in the checkout process.
  2. Enter your contact email and your billing details. Your shipping details will be copied from your billing details if you leave the "Ship items to the above billing address" box ticked. You can have a different shipping address to the billing address is you wish.
  3. When all mandatory fields are filled, click on the "Continue to next step button".

5. Checkout Stage 2 - Shipping & Payment

  1. At this point you then need to choose your shipping method. Regular postage is free if your purchase is over $50, if less you will automatically be charged a shipping fee of $9.95.
  2. If you wish to Express Post your items you can select that option at this point. Express Post for non bulky items is $14.95 regardless of what your total purchase amount is. Express Post for bulky items is $49.95 regardless of what your total purchase amount is. If you have purchased a bulky item you will automatically be given the option of $49.95 for Express Post.
  3. You then have the following 3 choices of payment;
    1. Credit Card - Online

      • Quick and easy payment method.
      • We accept Visa & MasterCard.
      • Safe and secure method of payment as we do not store your credit card information.
      • Your order will get priority over Direct Deposit orders since payment occurs instantly.
      • To make payment by credit card online simply select the PayPal option at checkout and then complete your details under the "Pay with a credit or debit card option".

       

    2. Credit Card - Over the Phone

      • Quick and easy payment method.
      • We accept Visa & MasterCard.
      • Safe and secure method of payment as we do not store your credit card information.
      • Your order will get priority over Direct Deposit orders since payment occurs instantly.
      • To make payment by credit card over the phone simply select this option at checkout and then call us during office hours on 02 4973 3470 to make payment. Or alternatively, we will call you for payment if you have supplied your number in your customer information.

       

    3. PayPal

      • Safe quick and easy payment method.
      • You must have a PayPal Account to use this payment method.
      • Your order will get priority over Direct Deposit orders since payment occurs instantly.
      • To make payment by using PayPal simply select the PayPal option at checkout, and then click on the "Pay with my PayPal account" option. You will then be taken to the PayPal website and asked to login to your PayPal account.
      • Once in your account you will need to complete payment.

       

    4. Direct Deposit

      • We offer this payment method for your convenience. Please note that your order will not be shipped until payment has been received into our bank account.
      • To make payment by Direct Deposit simply select this option at checkout. Your order will be sent to us so that your items can be picked awaiting payment. You will then receive an email stating payment required and our account details so that you can make payment.
      • A direct deposit payment generally takes between 1 and 2 working days to reach our account, at which time your items will be despatched immediately.

6. What Happens Next

  1. Once you have placed your order you will receive an "Order Confirmation" email from Party Things. Your order will be packed and despatched within 48 hours. If there are any issues with your order in relation to items not being available you will be contacted about possible substitutions or wether your delivery can wait until items are back in stock.
  2. Once your order has been despatched you will receive a "Shipping Confirmation" email which will detail all items that have been despatched and the carrier that has been used. There will be a link on the email which will allow you to track your parcel throughout the delivery process.
